Vet chroma™ canine Pancreatic Lipase (cPL) is a Fluorescence Immunoassay (FIA) for the quantitative determination of canine Pancreatic Lipase in canine serum/plasma. cPL (canine Pancreatic Lipase) is a lipase that is specifically secreated by pancreas of dog. Test of cPL level in blood is useful for diagnosis of diseases related to dog's panceas. It is known that the concentration of PL in peropheral blood increases when pancreatic cancer develops.
